Easing into Spring

It's getting warm!  (Or maybe we should say, "It's getting warm?")  This has been such a slow start for spring this year but we are beginning to believe that it is really warming up and that the flowers are going to start blooming.  The hellebores continue to show the promise of spring.

The cherry blossoms hit peak bloom in Washington D.C. last weekend and ours aren't far behind.  These sweet little cherry pinks have us excited for all the color headed our way.

We've got another big batch of seedlings heading into the field this weekend and we've put away most of the row covers.

The heat, sunshine and abundant flowers of summer seem far away right now but we are enjoying the anticipation and excitement that spring always brings, even when it is slow to arrive.

Keep Planting,
David and Lina
